Daisy and Jack!

Should I say more? These are Daisy and Jack, two beautiful harbour porpoises.
They are always great lunch buddies – like today.

Elfin!

I might be a bit biased but isn’t Elfin the cutest sea otter?
It is always lovely to see him during my lunch break.

Fur seals and harbour porpoises

I spent today’s lunch hour watching both Northern fur seals and harbour porpoises, and time flew by so quickly!

Lunch time with a porpoise

It is always very relaxing to spend a few minutes watching Jack and Daisy during my lunch break. I am so lucky that I get to see them so often!

Half an hour with Jack and Daisy

I spent about half an hour watching the harbour porpoises Jack and Daisy as well as the beluga whales Aurora and Qila today.
Very relaxing indeed.

Elfin and Katmai’s nap time

It was nice to see both Elfin and Katmai having a nap – at the same time. Quite a rare sight!

Lunch time with Elfin

When I first saw Elfin today, he had a little nap – but after his lunch he became active.
Isn’t he one of the best lunch buddies to have around?

Lunch time with Jack and Daisy

What better way than to spend my lunch time with Jack and Daisy!
I find it always very soothing to watch the beluga whales and harbour porpoises swimming by.

2016 Vancouver Tourism Challenge – Day 2

On our second day of the 2016 Vancouver Tourism Challenge, Marcus and I visited the HR MacMillan Space Centre, the Vancouver Maritime Museum, and the Museum of Vancouver. The latter had a neat exhibition of the Expo 86.

On our way back we also saw a few geese among all those beautiful sea of daisies.

Lunch buddies

Today I had lunch with Aurora, Qila, Jack and Daisy.
Although I have spent so much time with all of these amazing beluga whales and harbour porpoises I never tire of seeing them over and over again.
