Marcus, our boys and I spent an exciting day at Portsmouth today where we first visited Southsea Castle and walked along the remains of it. The most interesting part was that the castle had simply integrated the lighthouse into its walls. I’ve never seen anything like that before.
After that we walked along Portsmouth pier and along the beach where our boys collected some pretty interesting shells.
Before going home again, we headed to the Blue Reef Aquarium where we could watch various animals in action.
Once again we headed to the beach where our boys collected some shells and took pictures like Marcus and I did. They also had a lot of fun trying to sit on all the different spots of Littlehampton longest bench.
Together with our boys we spent some hours at the sea and walked along the river Arun before going back home and watching a film together – after having had some delicious doughnuts and cup of hot chocolate. We really had a great day!
Although it was a rather grey day and rain was in the air, we headed down to the beach to get some fresh air – and that we did! It was quite windy and cold at the beachfront, but the waves we saw were really impressive.
